FAQ'S

What is Beef Tallow

Beef tallow is rendered fat that comes from a cow. It has been used traditionally across many cultures by women (and men) looking to naturally enhance their beauty, help support healthy skin, and deeply moisturize. Our ancestors strongly believed in respecting and venerating the God-given animal and using every part of it for good. Many people, inlcuding myself, share this belief.

What is the difference between your Beef Tallow Face and Body Butter vs. Beef Tallow Lotion?

The Beef Tallow Lotion contains Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to help moisturize on a deep, cellular level. EVOO is not recommended for facial use due to its comedogenic properties, which can clog facial pores in some people. I recommend the lotion for bodily use only.

The Beef Tallow Face & Body Butter does not contain EVOO and I also adhere to proper essential oil dilutions for facial use. For these reasons, this product can be used on both the face and body.

What is Black Seed Oil? I Thought seed oils were bad for you.

Following the Industrial Revolution, the entire culture around nutrition & medicine changed. The medical industry began demonizing healing foods like red meat, eggs, butter, milk, etc. with one of the reasons being that they cause cholesterol levels to increase which can lead to heart disease and other health problems. The alternative that they offered was staying away from those food products as much as possible and turning to a low-fat diet (skim milk, minimal meat, egg alternatives, butter alternatives, etc.). The problem with these alternatives is that they use inflammatory seed oils.

Coincidentally, around the same time that this was happening, heart disease, cancers, system inflammatory disorders, and a list of other diseases skyrocketed. Over the last few years, people have been waking up to this information and turning back to a more primal diet to heal their bodies.

Now back to Black Seed Oil- it is one of the most healing oils used throughout cultures and religions all around the world to help with a wide variety of symptoms and conditions. I have personally used it both externally and internally and have seen amazing results. Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I take it and it goes away. I’ve heard many accounts of people taking it for systemic inflammation, helping them with their symptoms. It is one oil I would recommend every household to have on hand for emergencies. Many of my clients and customers have seen great success with Black Seed Oil. Not all ‘seed oils’ are necessarily bad- each one has a different use.

Do You Make Custom Orders?

I would be happy to make a custom order for any product of your choosing. Please contact me with your inquiry.

What is Holistic?

Holistic comes from the word “whole” meaning mind, body, and spirit. It focuses on assessing the entire person by finding the root causes of symptoms, not just suppressing them. Although there are several holistic modalities, my approach focuses on Naturopathy, Herbology, Aromatherapy, and Bach Flowers.

The holistic approach can be (and should be) used alongside the traditional Allopathic approach. Medical doctors and holistic practitioners often work together.

Note* As a Natural Health Practitioner, I do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Who Can Come See You?

Holistic is for everyone! I am trained and have expertise in helping men and women of all ages and backgrounds.

What Does an Online Consultation Look Like?

When you book your consultation, please fill out the Client Intake Form to secure your spot. Once I receive and review your information, I will send you a link to our video call ahead of time. During the appointment, we will refer to the intake form to address any concerns you may have. We will also take the time to discuss nutrition and lifestyle choices and I will make recommendations based on our conversation.

Do You Take Insurance?

I am not taking insurance at this time.

How Long Before I See/Feel Changes?

This varies from person-to-person. Some people feel changes in the first three days of following my recommendations, others a few weeks. It all depends on the person, condition, and your dedication. A good rule of thumb is one month of healing for every year of the problem.

Are You Seeing Clients In-Person?

At this time, I am only offering online video consultations. If this is not possible for you, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.
